Whole Person Therapy
In our society, everything seems to be fragmented and disconnected. Sometimes that disconnect happens in our own bodies. We look at ourselves as a set of symptoms, a body with faulty parts. However, our bodies are not just parts like in an automobile. Each system of the body depends on other systems to function.
Your brain works in response to your body and vice versa. In whole person therapy, we look at root causes of your mental health challenges. We will look at how your mental fitness is affected by your physical health, diet, exercise level, social connections, and spiritual life. On the way, we will find a path that moves you in a direction of living well, your version.

Traditional Therapy

Integrative Mental Health Consultation
Rather than fully engage in traditional therapy some people just need some guidance to support their mental health through diet and daily habits. This service is NOT billable through insurance. Billing methods must be on file prior to appointment time.
My Training and Background
-
-
I earned my Master’s Degree in Human Development Counseling from Bradley University in 2012. I worked in adult education, community mental health, public schools, and corrections, before moving on to my full time private practice in 2023. As a counselor I cannot prescribe medication, so I took it upon myself to learn ways that we can effectively improve mental health through input from our 5 senses. How do we sooth distress by managing what we see, smell, taste, touch, and hear? How do we make small habits that can have a huge impact? If you want to explore the answer to those questions, contact me for more information.
