My Background

Growing up on a dairy farm, I learned a lot about how emotions affect behavior. We are no different than animals in that way. We all experience fear, joy, anger, and sadness. In high school I suffered a significant loss. I coped with my grief in ways that were not the healthiest. I wished during that time, that I had someone to talk to. I was determined to become that person. It didn’t happen right away, there were some lessons I needed to learn first. In 2012 I earned my Master’s Degree in Human Development Counseling from Bradley University. In 2018 I became a clinical professional counselor and licensed practitioner of the healing arts in the state of Illinois. After working in community mental health counseling, corrections, and in education I began my own practice in 2022, and was able to devote myself to it full time in 2023. I primarily provide telehealth services.

Services

Individual Therapy

This service is for individuals to process and explore their emotions, thought patterns, and relationships. Meetings usually begin on a weekly basis.

Insurance rates range from $120- $155 for a 60 minutes session.

If you do not have insurance please contact me through Open Path Collective to receive a reduced rate.

Integrative Mental Health Consultation

This service is for clients who do not want to engage in individual therapy, but would like an assessment and consultation to help improve their mental health through physical changes, whether that is diet and exercise or the introduction of light or sound therapy, or other somatic interventions. This service is NOT billable through insurance.

90 minutes session- $200
